Sam the Local is a fun and energetic startup focused on enabling people to go beyond tourist attractions and truly explore a city with a local insider. Started in 2015 in Hong Kong, our platform allows customers to book private and customized Outings with Locals. After booking, the Local will create an itinerary based on the customer's preferences and interests and then take them on the Outing. Our community of vetted Locals in Hong Kong now has more than 75 members who cover 12 languages, 10 interest categories, and come from 8 countries around the world. We are looking for a passionate Business Development Lead to spearhead our expansion in Seoul. This Business Development Lead position has the potential to grow into a Country Manager position.
