Sugar is a tech startup that operates an awesome mobile app providing incentives for users to discover cool new places around them. The mobile app is fully interactive (and also quite addictive) and was featured by Apple as an Editor's Pick on the App Store within one week of launch in Singapore. Sugar was also featured most recently in The Business Times early this year. Sugar gained rapid traction in Singapore within a few months of its official launch – having received consistently positive ratings, been nominated for awards, and been featured in media more than 20 times. Sugar quickly gained a strong footing as it made headway into Hong Kong in early 2014, where it now boasts a critical mass of clients. The company has received backing from elite investors who have also invested in companies like Razer and Xiaomi at a very early stage.
