Management Associate Job Description Our Management Associate program is specifically designed to give high-potential young individuals an opportunity to fast-track their careers through exposure to various business functions (including sales, marketing, communications, operations and project/new venture management), supervised closely by the CEO and other external advisors and mentors. The program lasts 9 months, after which Management Associates are expected to make the step up into becoming full-fledged managers and leading teams. Candidates can expect to be mentored intensively, with regular performance reviews. This program is ideal for any individual with a strong desire to learn about business management and entrepreneurship. There will be opportunities to interact with senior business leaders from various industries. There may also be opportunities for new venture management, and project management. No specific professional skills are required, as you will pick these up along the way. What is much more important is a positive, enthusiastic attitude, and a willingness to step outside your comfort zone. We don't want candidates who are just looking for a cushy job where it is possible to lie low and shirk responsibility. On the other hand, we really like people who are proactive, responsible, open-minded, and willing to challenge themselves. Desired Skills and Experience • A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline, or at least 3 years' work experience in lieu of a Degree. • At least 1 year of work experience, including internship and part-time experience. • Demonstrable leadership potential and/or community involvement outside of ordinary work or academic pursuits. • Candidates must be currently located in Singapore. Candidates who are currently outside of Singapore need NOT apply. We do not conduct interviews over the phone or on Skype. • Excellent command of both written and spoken English. • Excellent knowledge of and passion for lifestyle, food and beverage industry, both generally and on social media. • Any previous entrepreneurial experience (including failures) or involvement with any early-stage start-ups will be considered extremely favourably.
