OVERVIEW
Our company is called SWAG, which stands for Simple Wifi Anywhere you Go, the name is sort of a relic of something we used to work on before but still kinda works for what we do now. What we're doing now is building software and a device that allows a single user to take advantage of the infrastructure of two or more operators. When you're walking around in the street or pretty much anywhere you are, the signal from Maxis as well as Celcom is there. However, if you're a Maxis subscriber, you get the reliability, coverage and capacity of the Maxis network, and if you are a Celcom subscriber, you get the same from Celcom. The device that we are building will contain two independent cellular modules each with its own SIM card. In practice, our device would have one Tune Talk SIM and one, for instance, DiGi SIM, and would allow a single user, connecting to a single website, to take advantage of the capacity, coverage and reliability of both at the same time. The chances of both being unusable are a lot slimmer, so using our device will not only be faster, but just more enjoyable and reliable altogether. Since speed impresses, we've done a demo video where we combine two local telcos' infras during an Ookla speedtest in a very low congestion area (at the top of both infra's speeds) using our beta hardware and software. You can watch it on our homepage www.swag.my. Right now Tune Talk is our first official client and we are working on deals with pretty much every telco in Malaysia.
