OVERVIEW

The Textile and Fashion Federation (TaFf) is a non-profit organisation governed by an Executive Committee made up of influential businessmen and practitioners in the industry. It was formed through a coalition of the textile and garment associations in 1981. It organises trade shows, competitions and industry initiatives to propel local fashion businesses overseas. Since its inception, Singapore's textile and apparel industry has been transformed from a manufacturing base to a regional fashion, marketing and sourcing hub. TaFf has groomed numerous young design talents and companies, and assisted them with global expansion. TaFf is a member of the Asia Fashion Federation (AFF) as wel as the ASEAN Federation of Textiles Industries (AFTEX).
