How we started?
WASABI Creation began as a volunteer group organizing countless number of international events in Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe of Japan, for both the Japanese and the international communities. Many of these events achieved such a high level of organization and quality that itâs hard to believe they were truly created by a group of volunteers. We have a team of multi-cultural, multi-lingual Japanese staffs, foreign staffs, and many others in between. Our team understands your business, Japanese culture, and appreciates the essence of your products, services and philosophy. Through creating these innovative events, we are able to present all of these qualities and beauties to potential clients and partners from the prospect of the foreigners eyes, leaving them with a better understanding, appreciation, and lasting impression to eventually achieve your companyâs goal.

About People
Tong
International Community Designer, Networker, Project & Event Producer
Hong Kong born Singaporean, worked & lived in Kyoto, Japan Tong believes that only great event design will attract, engage, involve, and connect people to achieve the objectives for the organizer & for the participants. "Event design is a people business." Tong is also the co-founder of We Are One Japan, a non-profit social entrepreneurial & international community in Kyoto, organizing countless international events & projects with the purpose of transforming Japan towards an international society. With Engineering & Entrepreneurship degrees from the National University of Singapore, Tong is given an analytical mind, problem solving skills, and a "can do" spirit that has allowed him to explore new ideas & possibilities in event design ever since his arrival in Japan in 2009. The trainings he received as a commando fighter during his 2.5 year military service further strengthened his determination & patience in realizing his dreams for WASABI Creation & his passion for making the world a better place.
