OVERVIEW

Wateroam is the provider of the most durable water filtration systems that "get there on time every time". The systems we design and produce are aimed to greatly quicken the accessibility to clean drinking water at disaster-stricken sites and rural communities. Wateroam's vision is to build a world where no man will face prolonged thirst. The social enterprise clinched the top award at the 2014 Singapore Humanitarian Water Filtration Design Competition, and the Rising Hydropreneur Star award at the Singapore International Water Week 2014. Wateroam has also provided water filters through various NGOs that were deployed in the East Malaysia Flood Relief in January 2015, in Vanuatu Cyclone Relief in April 2015, and in Nepal Earthquake Relief in May 2015. Since March 2015, Wateroam has been inducted as a qualifying company in the Young Social Entrepreneur (YSE) programme run by the Singapore International Foundation. The enterprise was also recognized as one of 5 most investment-worthy social enterprises in Singapore at the "Learning by Investing programme" organized by the Asia Centre for Social Entrepreneurship & Philantrophy (ACSEP).
