TripZilla is looking for a full-time Copy Editor based in the Philippines. We are Southeast Asia's leading digital travel media with content that spans stories, guides, tips, news and more! Here is YOUR chance to be part of a dynamic team and inspire travel within our readers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

• Edit or rewrite copy to improve readability
• Ensure content is accurate and grammatically correct
• Craft headlines and compelling hooks
• Adjust content according to the publication style and guidelines
• Replace or find royalty-free photos to supplement article
• Pick outstanding featured images for an article

JOB REQUIREMENT

• Excellent grasp of the English language
• Knack for copywriting
• Flexibility in writing style
• Well-versed in social media platforms, particularly Facebook
• Passionate about travel content
• Familiarity with Wordpress
• Knowledge of SEO techniques is a plus

Additional details:

• This is a remote job
• The working hours are 9am-6pm, from Mondays to Fridays
• There is a one-hour lunch break in between
• There is a weekly meeting in a coworking space for Manila-based team members

The Copy Editor will also be roped in for other editorial-related tasks such as writing. Shortlisted applicants will have to undergo an editing test.
